A family wellbeing ecosystem refers to the interconnectedness of challenges families and communities face - both on an individual and systemic level.
While keeping the child centered in all areas, this ecosystem including parents, caregivers, teachers, medical professionals, and community-supported services, can work together to support the needs of the child, families, and community.
Supporting the needs of the child nourishes the wellbeing of the community as a whole, present and future.
Our work is rooted in the promotion and preservation of civil and human rights. We stand in solidarity with families facing adversities and in support of the safety and wellbeing of children everywhere. We believe and will wholeheartedly support the liberation of all peoples from settler colonialism, white supremacy, and military domination.

Families have A LOT on their plates. Managing everything from daily necessities, goals and aspirations, social, emotional, and behavioral dynamics can be exhausting and overwhelming.
Working with the family as a team, the Power of Friendship can provide a connection to resources, address systemic needs, and offer a child-centered approach to managing family dynamics.

Positive Discipline guidance and classes for both families, teachers, and child care professionals can transform relationships with children.
By addressing unmet needs and centering self discipline and inner peace as the intrinsic goal of the child can help parents and educators connect with children and better face behavioral challenges.
Navigating challenges is tough enough.
The Power of Friendship is dedicated to assisting where needed with meeting prep and organizing documents, and as advocates, mediators, and diligent notetakers.
Social service is high on our list of priorities.
